Hardware Warranty & RMA Policy

Hardware Warranty Info: TXOne Edge Hardware and Element Hardware (“Product”)

This warranty and policy apply to the customer (“Customer”) who bought the Product stated above from TXOne recognized resellers, distributors or TXOne itself.

  • The warranty period commences on the purchase date shown on the purchase receipt or invoice and ends after the expiration of the standard warranty period for the product (stated as the Table I). This warranty is valid based on the procurement within the corresponding country.
  • Customer shall keep the purchase receipt and either the original or a copy of the bill of purchase or invoice. Those certificates serve as proof of the date of purchase. In case of a warranty claim, Customer shall send the receipt together with the Product and the filled-out request form provided by TXOne.
  • During the warranty period, with the proof of purchase, should the Product have indications of failure due to faulty workmanship and/or materials, TXOne will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective Product or components without additional charge for either parts or labor, to whatever extent we deem necessary to restore the Product to proper operating condition.
  • Any warranty not stated herein or not in TXOne’s written consent shall not be transferred to or imposed on TXOne. For any additional warranty provided by resellers, distributors or any third-party, Customer shall contact the specific party for such warranty responsibility.
  • Product without TXOne’s official labels or serial numbers, with mismatched serial numbers, or has any difficulty to identify, are not eligible for TXOne warranty or after-sales service.
  • When sending Product for repair, please use the original packaging materials or appropriate materials (such as cardboard, bubble wrap, or Styrofoam). Any damage due to Customer’s improper packaging shall not be covered by TXOne’s warranty.
  • During the warranty period, TXOne is responsible for free repairs. If the Product cannot be repaired, TXOne may replace it with a new or equivalent product at TXOne’s own discretion.
  • Any replacement will consist of a new or re-manufactured functionally equivalent product of equal value and will be offered solely at TXOne’s discretion.
  • Customer recognized that any data within the Product may be lost while TXOne provides the warranty, maintenance or reformatting service. TXOne will not provide Customer data rescue and storage services or take any liability for the loss of data.
  • Parts or components disassembled from the Product during the repairs (including paid repairs) are the property of the TXOne.
  • Product casing, consumables, gifts, and packaging materials are not covered by the warranty.
  • For the Product out of the warranty period, TXOne has the right to refuse the repair service. Inspection and repair of Product beyond the warranty period will incur charges. TXOne will prior notify the Customer. If the Product is unable to repair when inception, no repair fees will be charged.
  • If the faults occur during the warranty period are not attributable to TXOne, including but not limited to the following circumstances, paid repairs are necessary, and if the Product is unable to repair, no charges will be imposed:
  1. Natural disasters, accidents, or human negligence
  2. Violation of product manual instructions
  3. Improper assembly or abnormal use
  4. Use of unauthorized accessories
  5. Operation in environments exceeding permitted usage conditions.
  6. Unauthorized disassembly or repairs
  7. Deliberate damage
  8. Oxidation of circuits or components
  9. Use as a testing device (e.g., RAM, VGA, USB testing)
  10. Damage caused by abnormal power supply.
  11. The Product is modified, misused, tampered with, or subjected to abnormal working conditions not conducted by TXOne.
  12. The bundled or licensed software of other vendors without TXOne’s prior consent.
  13. The defects which do not substantially or significantly affect the usability of the Product.
  • TXOne reserves the right to add, delete, modify, or interpret the manual, online documentation, and this policy from time to time hereof which will take effect after being announced on the TXOne’s website without obligation to notify any party of such revisions or changes.
