For PLCs, DCS nodes, and embedded controllers with no accessible USB port, or for remote sites where inspection is tied to scheduled maintenance windows, vPI delivers the same OT-grade scanning engine as Portable Inspector — deployed from ElementOne and executed locally on each asset, on a schedule driven by risk rather than technician availability.
Running as a standalone executable with no installation, no background processes, and no system reboot required, it discovers hardware, collects software inventory, performs malware inspection, and validates device integrity against a configurable baseline. Results sync automatically to ElementOne for centralized visibility across all sites.
